On July 18th, Dawn Group was awarded the “Top Ten Meritorious Enterprises of Yantai City in 2020” at the Yantai Entrepreneur Team Building Conference; Yu Xiaoning, Chairman and President of Dawn Group, was awarded the “Top Ten Meritorious Entrepreneurs of Yantai City in 2020”; the high-performance thermoplastic elastomer (TPV) R&D technology innovation team led by Tian Hongchi, general manager of Dawn Polymer, was awarded the "Excellent Technology Innovation Team of Yantai City".

2021 is the 30th anniversary of Dawn Group. Over the past 30 years, Yu Xiaoning has led Dawn Group to adhere to the road of integration of science, industry, trading, logistics, and finance, which has formed a coordinated development pattern of major and auxiliary industries such as chemical plastic trading, new polymer materials, titanium dioxide, modern logistics, coal industry and trading, financial services, and other industries. It has been among the top 500 private enterprises in China for consecutive years. In 2020, Dawn Group's revenue exceeded CNY30 billion, and its contribution to local taxation was greater and greater. Especially during the COVID-19 last year, Dawn’s hard-core anti-epidemic performance received thanks and commendations from the State Council, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of many provinces, and it became an advanced anti-epidemic group in Shandong Province.

After the meeting, Chairman Yu Xiaoning accepted an interview from reporter of Yantai TV. He said that this honor was not only a personal affirmation of him, but also a recognition of Dawn's high-quality development achievements. In recent years, the party committees and governments at all levels in Yantai City have adhered to the new development concept to value, support, and serve the entrepreneurs. Efforts were made to create a legal environment that protects the legitimate rights and interests of entrepreneurs in accordance with the law, a market environment that promotes fair competition and honest operation of entrepreneurs, and a social atmosphere that respects and encourages entrepreneurs to start businesses, which provided strong support for the healthy development of enterprises.

Chairman Yu Xiaoning stated that next step he will continue to uphold the entrepreneur’s feelings for family and country, strengthen the sense of responsibility and mission, lead Dawn Group to rely on the Longkou New Material Science and Technology Industrial Park to practice the business philosophy of "product-oriented, people-based, technology-led, and customer-first", continue to build product chains, enterprise chains, and industrial chains, accelerate the realization of the "two hundreds-of-billion-level" goals of "hundreds-of-billion-level enterprises and hundreds-of-billion-level parks", and make greater contributions to the economic and social development of Yantai city.
