On the morning of April 11th, Yang Jigang, Vice President of CNPC, Secretary of Party Committee and General Manager of the Refining and Chemicals Branch, visited Dawn for investigation, aiming to enhance friendship, expand consensus, deepen cooperation, and seek common development. Yu Xiaoning, Chairman and President of Dawn Group, accompanied the event.

In the lobby on the first floor of Dawn Group headquarters, Vice President Yang Jigang listened to the introduction of Dawn group’s development history, industrial structure, innovation capabilities, and cultural construction. He expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Dawn for fulfilling social responsibilities, actively dedicating love, and assisting partners during the epidemic.

After 30 years of tremendous development, Dawn has grown out of nothing, small to large, weak to strong, and been listed among the top 500 private enterprises in China for successive years. Chairman Yu Xiaoning says that Dawn has become the chairman unit of many national and local guilds. According to Yu Cuntao, deputy general manager of Dawn Chemicals, Dawn has undertaken the functions of CNPC North China sales channel construction, information transmission, customer service, and other functions for 20 years of cooperation. Dawn has become a "gold partner" in successive years and has become the only core user of all AAA products in North China. In Dawn Chemical Marketing Hall, all the cadres and employees used sonorous and powerful slogans and uniform actions to show the positive outlook of Dawn people and the spirit of going forward courageously. "Behind the gold customers, there is an excellent gold medal team. I hope you will fight as the slogans shouted, and I wish Dawn can win the industry champion."

Entering the Longkou New Materials and New Energy Industrial Park undertook and managed by Dawn, Vice President Yang Jigang inspected the planning and construction of the park, the two major industries of high polymer materials and titanium dioxide, as well as Dawn’s high-end medical and health nonwoven fabrics projects under construction. He had a detailed understanding of industrial planning, research and development capabilities, product performance, application areas, etc., and recognized Dawn’s scientific research strength, especially the level of formulation and revision of various standards, which is a good situation for Dawn to continue to expand the scale and enhance its core competitiveness.

At the subsequent symposium, Qiu Huanling, vice president of Dawn Group, reported on the status of technology research and development, core products and strategic planning. Vice President Yang Jigang pointed out that as a leader in private enterprises, Dawn has a lot to be learnt in terms of operation and management. He said that in the future, both companies would have a sound sharing mechanism for product development and application, and conduct comprehensive and in-depth exchanges and cooperation in the fields of technology, patents, and standards. Chairman Yu Xiaoning stated that CNPC is a comprehensive international energy company and one of China's major oil and gas producers and suppliers. Over the past 20 years, Dawn has always been adhering to the concept of "customers are partners, and cooperation creates win-win", and has forged a deep friendship with PetroChina in cooperation, which has become a good story for central enterprises and private enterprises to work together to achieve a win-win situation. In the future, the two companies should further expand the areas of cooperation, strengthen strategic docking, innovate forms and contents, continuously improve the level of cooperation, and work together to promote high-quality development of enterprises.
