On April 9th, Shandong Dawn Polymer Co., Ltd. (tentative name) and its share controlled subsidiary Shandong Dawn Zhou’s Plastic Packaging Co., Ltd. which marks Dawn's full entry into the field of degradation. Previously, on January 16th, Dawn and China Textile Academy reached a strategic cooperation on the construction of a 120,000 tons/year biodegradable plastic (PBAT) project. On April 8th, the signing ceremony of investment cooperation projects was held with Shandong Zhou’s Plastic Packaging Co., Ltd to establish a joint venture company with name of Shandong Dawn Zhou’s Plastic Packaging Co., Ltd..

It is understood that the main business scope of Shandong Dawn Degradable Materials Co., Ltd. includes plastic product manufacturing, bio-based material manufacturing, and bio-based material technology research and development and Shandong Dawn Zhou’s Plastic Packaging Co., Ltd. main business scope is packaging and decoration Printed matter printing, plastic product manufacturing, degradable materials and products, agricultural plastic film, etc. The birth of the above two companies further extended the products chain, industrial chain, and enterprise chain.

With the introduction of China's plastic limit policy and the rapid growth of market demand for degradable plastics Dawn actively responded to the call and took advantage of the trend to accelerate its deployment in the field of degradable materials.
