"Skills Empower Dawn, Craftsmanship Drives Growth": Three-Level Trade Unions Jointly Inspect Dawn
On the morning of July 25, the Shandong Provincial Federation of Trade Unions (SPFTU) working group stationed in Longkou visited Dawn Polymer to inspect and guide the "Skills Empower Dawn" employee skill competition. They were accompanied by officials from the Longkou Federation of Trade Unions and Dawn Group Union.
Focusing on the "automatic white oil replenishment control" project, over 30 technical backbones competed, showcasing their professionalism, technical prowess, calmness, and skillful operations—fully embodying Dawn employees' excellent expertise and upbeat spirit. The SPFTU group highly praised the well-organized competition and participants' outstanding performance, encouraging employees to learn through competition, apply learning to work, hone skills at their posts, and strive to be role models of high-caliber industrial workers in the new era.
After the competition, the group visited Dawn's Polymer New Materials Exhibition Center, gaining insights into the enterprise's overview, development history, industrial layout, and product applications. Dawn's diverse product portfolio—from high-end new materials to consumer products—and extensive application fields left a deep impression. The group affirmed Dawn's achievements in innovation-driven development and deep cultivation in polymer materials, praising the Dawners' spirit of "unity, struggle, and pursuit of excellence."
On the afternoon of the same day, Sun Xiaodong, a second-level researcher of the Production Protection Department of SPFTU, led a team to Dawn Group for the SPFTU skill assistance volunteer service. Jointly with the Longkou-stationed working group, they held a book donation ceremony at Dawn's headquarters and conducted an inspection, accompanied by officials from Yantai Federation of Trade Unions, Longkou Federation of Trade Unions, and Dawn Group Union.
At the event, union leaders donated books on team management, skill improvement to employees. Through the "stationed + assistance" service model, they delivered knowledge to posts and skill services to workers, encouraging them to read more and better books, enhance comprehensive qualities, and boost the growth of industrial workers—injecting new momentum into the enterprise's high-quality development.
At the symposium, Researcher Sun Xiaodong stated that efforts will be made to better align union resources with enterprise needs, translating union work into practical measures to serve enterprises and drive development. Regarding the reform of industrial worker teams, enterprises should proactively report pain points and difficulties encountered; unions at all levels will establish a regular communication mechanism to promptly grasp situations, coordinate solutions, and support enterprise development and worker growth.
This inspection and assistance activity not only comprehensively reviewed the achievements of grassroots industrial worker team building but also served as a pragmatic move to unify ideas and seek common development. Through multi-dimensional collaboration—skill competitions, inspections, book donations, and red education—it has stimulated enterprise innovation vitality and employee enthusiasm. Dawn Group will take this opportunity to deepen the reform of industrial worker teams, improve the skill talent training system, build more growth platforms, promote the spirit of model workers, labor, and craftsmanship, strive to cultivate high-caliber industrial workers, and contribute more "Dawn strength" to regional development.
