On February 20th, the founding meeting and the first women's congress of the Dawn Group Women's Federation were held at the group's headquarters. The purpose is to unite the power of women and better leverage the Women's Federation as a bridge and link in promoting the high-quality development of the enterprise. Che Jing, Chairperson of the Longkou Women's Federation, relevant leaders from the city's Women's Federation and Longgang Sub-district, and Liu Lili, Vice-President of Dawn Group, attended the meeting. Female employee representatives from various functional departments and business units participated.

 
With the approval of the Municipal Women's Federation, the Women's Federation of Dawn Group was established, 35 female employee representatives were determined for this conference.
 
This congress is a significant and positive event for the female employees of Dawn Group. The congress reviewed and approved the "Election Method for the First Women's Congress of the Dawn Group Co., Ltd. Women's Federation". Through secret balloting, 9 members of the first executive committee of the Dawn Group Women's Federation were elected. Subsequently, the first plenary meeting of the first-term executive committee was held, where Vice-President Liu Lili was elected as the Chairperson of the Group's Women's Federation, and Zhang Xiaoyan, Director of the Board Office, and Qu Ping, Deputy General Manager of Dawn Chemical, were elected as Vice-Chairpersons.
 
"Being elected as the Chairperson of the Dawn Group Women's Federation, I deeply feel the heavy responsibility and glorious mission," said Liu Lili, the newly-elected Chairperson, in her speech. Women are the "half-sky" in enterprise development. With wisdom, responsibility, and dedication, female employees have demonstrated outstanding abilities in various positions such as technology R&D, production management, and market development, making an irreplaceable contribution to the Group's leading position in the industry. They have interpreted the heroic spirit of "women not yielding to men" with actions and written a chapter of "delivering on heavy responsibilities with gentle shoulders" through their struggles.
How to create a new situation for the Women's Federation's work? Chairperson Liu Lili stated that in the future, the focus will be on the overall development of the enterprise, strengthening value guidance to unite the power of women; deepening capacity-building to empower women's growth; enriching cultural life to improve the happiness index; promoting the protection of rights and interests to create a fair environment; and integrating into the enterprise strategy to contribute women's wisdom. "Every woman is a participant, promoter, and beneficiary of the enterprise's high-quality development. Let's showcase the charm of women in the enterprise's development."
Chairperson Che Jing said that the convening of the first women's congress of Dawn Group marks a new stage in the Group's women's work, which is of great significance for leading, connecting, and serving female employees and improving the overall level of female employee work. "In recent years, Dawn Group has united and led women to actively carry out women-related work, cultivating a group of outstanding female heroes. They have fully demonstrated the professional spirit of 'loving and excelling in their work' and made outstanding contributions to the Group's high-quality development."
Chairperson Che Jing emphasized that the Dawn Group Women's Federation should guide women to thoroughly study, publicize, and implement the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the 13th National Women's Congress, and unswervingly follow the Party, writing a wonderful chapter of "women's hearts towards the Party, making contributions in the new era". As the "family member", the city's Women's Federation will, as always, support and pay attention to the women's work of Dawn Group, further strengthen communication and cooperation with the Group's Women's Federation, jointly promote the women's work of Dawn Group, raise it to a new level, and contribute "women's power" to building a high-level enterprise.
