"I am a Dawn member, representing Dawn's image and shouldering Dawn's mission..." On June 29th, at the Dawn Chemical 2024 New Employee Special Speech Contest with the theme of "Inheriting Dawn's Spirit and Continuing the Strength of Struggle", 20 new Dawn youths raised their right hands, clenched their fists, and solemnly swore. Each word of their oath was loud and clear. "We will stay true to our original aspirations, keep our mission firmly in mind, and constantly hold ourselves to the highest standards, fulfilling our solemn promise to Dawn through our actions."

That morning, the speech contest held at Dawn Business School aimed to celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the 33rd anniversary of the founding of Dawn Group, promote the great spirit of the Party's founding, inherit the Dawn spirit, and inspire a new generation of Dawn youth to set ambitious goals, uphold great virtues, achieve significant talents, and undertake great responsibilities. Yu Xiaoning, Chairman and President of Dawn Group, attended the event and delivered a speech. All staff of Dawn Chemical, Dawn International Trading Company, and Huasujia, as well as employee representatives from various departments and units of Dawn Group participated in the event.

The 20 young talents of Dawn Chemical focused on the theme of their speeches and based on their own positions. Some of them talked about their feelings and thoughts about studying and working in Dawn, some used real and typical examples and powerful language to express their gratitude to Dawn with emotion, and others talked about their responsibilities in Dawn's new journey. The contestants' passionate speeches won high praise and warm applause from the judges and the audience.

After fierce competition, Chen Ziyi from the Raffia PP Film Department and Kang Tiantian from the HDPE Department won the first prize. Additionally, four second prizes and six third prizes were awarded. The participating leaders presented the awards to the winners and took photos with them.

"Every struggle is a pursuit of dreams, a persistence in hard work, and an expectation for the future," said Chen Ziyi from the Raffia PP Film Department. As a Dawn employee in the new era, Chen emphasized the importance of continuing and inheriting the Dawn spirit, gathering the strength to strive, and rapidly growing in her position. Kang Tiantian from the HDPE Department shared her experiences of learning and working at Dawn, earnestly encouraging everyone to fully showcase their talents and shine on Dawn's stage.

During the event, party members and cadres of Dawn Chemical and new employees recited poems, leading the audience to review the glorious history of the Party, sing praises of the Party's great achievements, and review Dawn's development history. It fully demonstrated the enterprising attitude of Dawn youth in the new era, fulfilled their original aspirations with practical actions, shouldered Dawn's mission with a sense of responsibility, and contributed new strength and new light to the development of the company.

Xie Yuntao, Vice President of Dawn Group and General Manager of Dawn Chemical, encouraged everyone to continuously push their limits on the Dawn platform with determination to overcome failures, endure hardships, and never give up until their goals are achieved. He urged them to take concrete actions to bravely shoulder new missions and forge ahead on the new journey.
