On July 1st, Dawn Group held a groundbreaking ceremony for the high-end stainless steel pump and valve intelligent manufacturing project in the chemical equipment industrial zone of Longkou New Material Science and Technology Industrial Park. It marks that Dawn's chemical equipment industrial chain is accelerating its implementation, and creating the largest single stainless steel casting base in China. And its overall casting, processing and equipment manufacturing capabilities have reached international leading levels.

Ning Shenglong, Vice Chairman of the Longkou Municipal Political Consultative Congress and Deputy Director of the Longkou Economic Development Zone Management Committee; Xiao Hui, Executive Vice President of Dawn Group; Vice Presidents Song Huidong, Qiu Huanling, Wang Keyou, Liu Lili, and Wang Yongfang; Chen Peilun, Chairman of Longgang Pump Industry Co., Ltd, General Manager of Dawn Precision Intelligent Company, and Project Commander-in-Chief; and Yu Zhengyu, Assistant of the President of Dawn Group, attended the event. Also present were relevant leaders from the Longkou Economic Development Zone, heads of relevant functional departments and business units of Dawn Group, all employees of Dawn Precision Intelligent Company, mid-level and above personnel from Longgang Pump Industry Co., Ltd, and heads of the general contracting and supervision units.

According to reports, the project is an investment by Dawn Precision Intelligent Company, a joint venture established by Dawn Group and Yantai Longgang Pump Industry Co., Ltd. The project has a planned total investment of CNY 522 million, covering an area of 90.79 acres. It will purchase 246 major pieces of equipment, including the medium and large self-hardening sand automatic line, intelligent self-hardening sand molding line, and medium-frequency induction furnace. The project focuses on high-end pump and valve manufacturing, general component manufacturing, and high-end equipment manufacturing. The investment period for the project is from February this year to January 2026. Once the project reaches full production capacity, it will annually produce 27,000 tons of stainless steel metal castings, achieve sales revenue of CNY 890 million, and generate CNY 110 million in profits and taxes.

"The profound significance of the high-end stainless steel pump and valve intelligent manufacturing project lies not only in meeting the urgent domestic demand for high-performance castings in fields such as pumps, valves, large machinery, wind power, and nuclear power, but also in its core position as the 'mother of mechanical industry' within the entire manufacturing sector," stated Project Commander-in-Chief Chen Peilun. This project is a vivid practice to promote the manufacturing industry to move towards intelligence, digitalization and greening. It is also a key step for Dawn Group to realize the "14th Five-Year Plan" strategic plan and expand and extend the chemical equipment industrial chain.

What makes the high-end stainless steel pump and valve intelligent manufacturing project "high-end" and "intelligent"?Project Commander-in-Chief Chen Peilun explained, "In our industry, we will be the first to achieve full-process intelligent control and introduce a 'carbon footprint and carbon capture system.' And we creatively proposes the concept of a 'smart casting ecosystem'." The project has reached the world's top level in terms of design concept, scale, high-end equipment and intelligent level.

In the near future, several of the domestic first sets of equipment, intelligent production lines, and robots will be established here. With the support of cutting-edge technologies such as the industrial internet, this project will become a new benchmark in the field of high-end intelligent casting. "In the future, we will continuously break away from traditional methods to achieve unmanned factories and smart production, establishing ourselves as an important base for high-end stainless steel casting and intelligent manufacturing in China, and leading the industry to deeper and higher levels of development."

At the ceremony, the heads of the supervision and general contracting units each gave statements of commitment. Project Commander-in-Chief Chen Peilun hoped that the project construction unit and the supervision unit would adhere to the principles of "safety, quality, environmental protection, and efficiency" to ensure that every link meets international first-class standards, and jointly build the high-end stainless steel pump and valve intelligent manufacturing project into a world-class project and hand in a perfect answer.

"The settlement of this project in the park aligns with the future industrial direction of Dawn. And It signifies that Dawn and Longgang Pump Industry Co., Ltd will reach new heights in the development of their industrial chains and capital markets," said Vice President Song Huidong. He emphasized that they would take the start of this project as an opportunity to open the door to investment promotion, intensify investment promotion efforts, optimize the development environment, strive to attract more, larger and more market-competitive good projects, help Dawn Group to accelerate the realization of the "14th Five-Year Plan" strategic goals, and build a "100,000 people and 100 billion sales volume" industrial park.
