On the morning of July 3rd, Liu Sen, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Yantai Municipal People's Congress and chairman of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, led the third law enforcement inspection team to Dawn Titanium Industry Company to conduct research on the implementation of the "Yantai Marine Ecological Environment Protection Regulations". Ma Jijia, director of the Standing Committee of the Longkou Municipal People's Congress, Yin Bo, deputy mayor of the People’s  Government of Longkou City, Xiao Hui, executive vice president of Dawn Group, and Li Jianli, general manager of Dawn Titanium Industry Company, accompanied the event.

At Dawn Titanium Industry Company located in Longkou New Material Science and Technology Industrial Park, Deputy Director Liu Sen visited the rainwater and sewage diversion system optimization and upgrading project to learn about the system's operation, affirmed Dawn's achievements in environmental protection, and required the company to fulfill its duties and responsibilities and promote marine ecological environmental protection.

Rainwater and sewage diversion refers to the separation of rainwater and sewage, which are transported by a set of pipeline systems for discharge and subsequent treatment. Dawn Titanium Industry Co., Ltd., about 1 km away from the Bohai Sea coastline, invested more than CNY 2 million to optimize and upgrade the rainwater and sewage diversion system in the factory area on the basis of the original rainwater and sewage diversion facilities, collect and treat the initial rainwater in the factory area, and prevent pollutants in the factory area from entering lakes, reservoirs, rivers and seas with rainwater.

How is the water quality in the initial rainwater collection pool? Dawn Titanium Industry Company monitors the pH, COD, ammonia nitrogen and other indicators of rainwater in the pool from time to time. Multiple monitoring results showed that the water quality indicators were good. In order to achieve comprehensive utilization, Dawn Titanium planted lotus and raised ornamental fish in the pool, and turned the initial rainwater collection pool into a pleasing small ecological landscape, which added a strong touch to the company's green development.
