Not far away, a brief mobilization meeting for the start of work had just ended, and all employees quickly switched from "holiday mode" to "charge mode".

"The province's first meeting of the new year called for hard work, entrepreneurship, and taking responsibility. For us manufacturing companies, this means we must be at the forefront in terms of technology and production capacity," said Liu Xiansheng, R&D director of Yantai Longgang Pump Industry Co., Ltd. As a manufacturing company deeply rooted in the high-end pump industry, Longgang products are widely used in key areas of national economy and people's livelihood such as new energy and petrochemicals. Every piece of equipment carries an important mission. There is no room for negligence, and it must be in full swing to get off to a good start.

Liu Xiansheng's sense of urgency stems from the batch of export orders that are being rushed to completion in the workshop. Beside him, a BB2 centrifugal pump, soon to be shipped to Kazakhstan, has been assembled. This centrifugal pump is a "heavy cavalry" in the API family and a microcosm of Longgang Pump Industry's high-end manufacturing capabilities.

"This batch of orders has a tight delivery schedule and high technical requirements, which is a testament to the high recognition and trust that overseas customers have in our 'Yantai-made' products," said Liu Xiansheng, pointing to the busy assembly workers. To ensure on-time delivery, the company's workshop resumed production ahead of schedule on the fifth day of the Lunar New Year, and on the 24th, all employees were on duty and went into full-capacity operation.

Meeting order deadlines and ensuring timely delivery are immediate needs, while strengthening innovation and planning for the long term are essential for development. Inside the simulation laboratory, another powerful force is also surging forward. The R&D team sat around the simulation workstation, and focused on conducting simulation fluid analysis of their latest research and development of a high-temperature liquid metal circulating pump. On the computer screen, data such as medium flow rate and pressure cloud maps constantly refresh, each set of data carrying the hope of a technological breakthrough.

"This new pump is more efficient and stable than traditional products, and it is our 'trump card' for seizing the high-end market during the 15th Five-Year Plan period." Liu Xiansheng could not hide his excitement. "Today is the first working day after the holiday, and the data analysis results are very satisfactory. We not only need to run fast, but also run well, and contribute to the new quality of productivity with green and low-carbon products."

Over the past year, Longgang Pump Industry has continued to exert efforts in technological innovation and platform construction, successfully obtaining approval for the Shandong Provincial Key R&D Program, and successively being recognized as the "Shandong Provincial Engineering Research Center for Heavy-Duty Petrochemical Centrifugal Pumps", "Shandong Provincial Enterprise Technology Center", and "Shandong Provincial Postdoctoral Innovation Practice Base". A series of provincial-level innovation platforms have been established and empowered, laying a solid foundation for the company's technological breakthroughs, talent attraction and cultivation, and industrial upgrading.

Inside the workshop, production lines were operating efficiently, and pump skids were ready to go. Through the "speed" and "passion" of the first day of work, the reporter truly felt the long-accumulated momentum of this company in the new year.
