On February 2nd, the signing ceremony for the Dawn & Hwaseung Vietnam project, held at the Longkou (Dawn) New Materials Science and Technology Industrial Park, marked a significant step forward for Dawn in seizing industry opportunities and entering the vibrant Vietnamese market. It is understood that this is another new milestone in Dawn Polymer's "market internationalization" strategy, following the opening of a factory in Russia and the establishment of a subsidiary in Singapore.

Hyun Seok-ho, Vice Chairman of Hwaseung Group of South Korea, Lee Chan-ho, Executive Director of Management, and his technical R&D team; Yu Xiaoning, Chairman and President of Dawn Group, Song Huidong, Vice President, Tian Hongchi, General Manager of Dawn Polymer, Tan Weihong, General Manager of Qingdao New Materials Company, relevant functional department heads of Dawn Group, relevant personnel of Dawn Polymer, and members of the acquisition team attended the signing ceremony.

According to reports, Hwaseung Chemical (Vietnam) Modification Plant, a subsidiary of South Korea's Hwaseung Group, is located in Nhan Trach Industrial Zone, Nhan Trach District, Dong Nai Province, Vietnam. It primarily produces modified materials such as PPS, PP, PE, ABS, and PA6/66, with products widely used in electrical and electronic industries, office furniture, and automotive parts. Since its establishment five years ago, the plant has been a significant producer of new polymer materials in the region.

“China’s Dawn Group is a leading enterprise in the chemical industry. We have handed over our business in Vietnam, which we have been operating for five years, to Dawn Group for continued management. We are confident that this business will reach a higher and greater stage of development,” said Vice Chairman Hyun Seok-ho. He added that Hwaseung Group focuses on footwear and auto parts, and Dawn Group is a pioneer in the chemical materials field. “We look forward to both sides conducting in-depth cooperation and joint research and development in more areas, working together to build a new pattern of mutual growth and win-win cooperation.”
As a well-known South Korean multinational conglomerate, Hwaseung Group has been deeply rooted in Vietnam for many years, possessing a modern management system, a large-scale industrial base, and localized operational experience. Chairman Yu Xiaoning said, "We are grateful to Hwaseung Group for building a mature production plant and supply chain system in Vietnam, which will provide strong support for Dawn's rapid and stable production and operation, and for its entry into the Southeast Asian market."
Vietnam is the most dynamic emerging market in Southeast Asia, and the field of modified plastics using polymer materials is expected to maintain a strong growth momentum. After introducing Dawn's market layout and innovation capabilities, Chairman Yu Xiaoning expressed his hope that both parties would engage in deeper technological collaboration on rubber materials, particularly strengthen cooperation in key areas such as footwear innovation and automotive lightweighting, to create competitive new material solutions. Through resource sharing and complementary advantages, they aim to jointly explore broader markets in Vietnam, Southeast Asia, and even globally, writing a new chapter in sustainable development.
