On December 19th, the final of the 6th Shandong Provincial New Materials Industry Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition concluded in Jinan, Shandong. Shandong Dawn Special Elastomer Materials Co., Ltd. Participating projects covered fields such as advanced polymer materials, attracting numerous innovative and entrepreneurial teams and showcasing the innovative vitality and development potential of Shandong's new materials industry. An expert judging panel composed of industry experts, university scholars, and representatives from investment institutions conducted a comprehensive and detailed review of the participating projects, focusing on core dimensions such as product technological innovation and advancement, business model feasibility, industry market potential, management team professionalism, financial planning and risk control, and the logical consistency of language expression.

The core product of this award-winning project, special hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber (HNBR), is a high-performance special elastomer produced by catalytic hydrogenation of NBR. Compared to traditional NBR, this material possesses advantages such as high and low temperature resistance, oil resistance, aging resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, and excellent mechanical properties. It can operate stably under extreme conditions, which is widely used in high-end equipment manufacturing and strategic emerging industries such as aerospace, new energy batteries, automobile manufacturing, rail transportation, and oilfield extraction. It is a core basic material for key components.

For a long time, the high-end specialty hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber (HNBR) market has been monopolized by a few foreign companies, hindering the development of China's high-end equipment manufacturing industry. Dawn Special Elastomer Materials has been deeply involved in the field of specialty elastomer materials for many years, successfully breaking through several key technologies in the synthesis, modification, and large-scale production of specialty hydrogenated NBR.
