On December 3rd, Dawn International Logistics Co., Ltd. held a commissioning ceremony for the "DAWN FZ" vessel in Weihai. This vessel will soon join the foreign trade fleet, bringing Dawn's total fleet size to five ships, with an annual operating capacity of 210,000 tons. It establishes a new pattern of coordinated development between domestic and international trade routes, injecting strong momentum into Dawn's modern logistics industry. Yu Xiaoning, Chairman and President of Dawn Group, Lu Yonghuan, President of Xinfa Holdings, Han Yongwei, Head of Dawn's Modern Logistics Division, and Lu Hai, Director of the Yantai Office of the Qingdao Branch of the China Classification Society, attended the event.

During the event, Chairman Yu Xiaoning boarded the "DAWN FZ" vessel, extended his warm regards to the crew, and visited the main deck, side deck, bridge, engine room control room, and crew living quarters. He carefully inspected the operational status of the ship's equipment and the configuration of safety protection facilities, and repeatedly urged all crew members to "Keep safety first when sailing," and to demonstrate DAWN's professionalism on international routes and create greater value.

"As another masterpiece from Dawn Shipping, the 'DAWN FZ' vessel is 199 meters long, 32 meters wide, 18.6 meters deep, and has a deadweight of 61,500 tons. 'FZ' stands for the first letters of the Chinese character 'development,' symbolizing the commitment to supporting the high-quality development of Dawn's modern logistics industry," said Han Yongwei, General Manager of Dawn International Logistics. He expressed that the successful completion of this vessel's high-quality dry-docking was a testament to the support and guidance of the Dawn family, the hard work and craftsmanship of Xinhong Heavy Industry, and the professionalism and dedication of the China Classification Society.

Looking back on Dawn Shipping's more than 20 years of history, from the "Lu Xinglong 1" setting sail in 1997 to the current well-established fleet of "Dawn 7," "Dawn 17," and "Dawn 167," each change in vessels marks Dawn's firm steps towards the depths of the ocean. General Manager Han Yongwei said, "We are transforming from a single shipping company into a ship industry chain company, while continuously investing in expanding our own fleet and extending railway lines. Currently, the company's annual freight volume exceeds 10 million tons, making it a multimodal integrated logistics enterprise."

Xinhong Heavy Industry, a modern ship repair enterprise under Xinhong Group, a subsidiary of Xinfa Holdings, specializes in ship repair and conversion. It has been the largest private ship repair company in Northern China. "Regarding the repair work on the 'DAWN FZ' vessel, Xinhong Heavy Industry planned ahead, focused on the process, and prioritized both quality and efficiency, resulting in a successful delivery," said President Lu Yonghuan. "Having learned about Dawn Group's overall layout in shipping logistics and its future plans for the shipbuilding industry chain, we are confident in forming a long-term strategic partnership with Dawn to achieve mutually beneficial development."

For over 30 years, Dawn Group has focused on the research, polymerization, production, sales, and application of new chemical materials, adhered to an integrated development path encompassing science, industry, trade, logistics, and finance, and has successfully entered the ranks of China's top 500 enterprises. Chairman Yu Xiaoning stated that trade and logistics rank first among Dawn's five core business segments. It is not only a crucial link connecting the group's upstream and downstream industrial chains but also an important engine for serving external markets and expanding global business. The modern logistics sub-segment bears the heavy responsibility of ensuring smooth supply chains and enhancing service value.

"Today we gather because of the birth of a ship, and join hands for a shared future," said Chairman Yu Xiaoning. "The commissioning of the 'DAWN FZ' is not only a quantitative increase, but also a qualitative leap. It signifies that DAWN Modern Logistics Industry is venturing from rivers to the ocean, from domestic to global markets, and its ability to serve the country's new development pattern and ensure supply chain stability has been greatly enhanced. We look forward to working with Xinfa Holdings, China Classification Society, and other parties to create a comprehensive blue economy complex integrating high-end equipment, logistics services, and industrial support, building an open, collaborative, and win-win industrial community with a shared future, and writing a more magnificent new chapter in the ocean economy.
