Recently, the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announced the 2025 list of recognized “One Enterprise, One Technology”R&D Centers. Dawn Polymer was successfully selected for its outstanding R&D capabilities and innovative achievements in polymer new materials. To date, the company has 14 scientific research platforms at or above the provincial level, providing solid support for high-quality technological innovation.
The“One Enterprise, One Technology”R&D Center certification aims to support enterprises in building R&D institutions, increasing R&D investment, conducting R&D activities, and strengthening R&D teams. It plays a vital role in enhancing enterprises’ status as innovation leaders and improving their technological innovation systems. Dawn Polymer's selection is strong proof of its deep expertise in polymer materials and continuous improvement of independent innovation capabilities.
For years, Dawn Polymer has prioritized technological innovation as its core driver, focusing on R&D and industrial application of polymer new materials and growing into an industry leader. It has built four technical platforms: “plastic modification + dynamic vulcanization + esterification synthesis + hydrogenation reaction.” Its independently developed products—such as thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV), hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber (HNBR), new thermoplastic elastomer for tire high gas barrier layers (DVA), and high-end copolyester (PETG/PCTG)—have entered the global market, advancing domestic substitution.
Dawn Polymer has continuously improved its innovation environment and built a strong R&D team with remarkable achievements: over 270 invention patents, participation in 7 international standards and 67 national standards, and undertaking more than 30 provincial-level or higher sci-tech projects. This solid technical strength underpins product diversification and industrial upgrading.
Looking ahead, Dawn Polymer will increase R&D investment, accelerate digital and intelligent transformation, and focus on cutting-edge fields like robotics, low-altitude economy, and solid-state batteries to explore new areas and markets. It will also expand upstream and downstream businesses to integrate the industrial chain, enhance cost control and market competitiveness, and steadily move toward its goal of becoming a global leader in polymer materials.
