On June 7th, the 3rd Youth Cadre Training Class of Dawn Business School carried out an outreach training activity in Penglai District. On the same day, the “Relay Yangtze River 17th Session” Dawn Visit activity of Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB) entered the Dawn Group. From the enterprise’s “all-embracing” stance to young talents “integrating into Dawn,” and then to Dawn’s young entrepreneurs “merging into the surging future of the Yangtze River,” Dawn continuously explores the internal-external extended youth talent cultivation model, nurturing talents with shoulder-heavy responsibilities for the enterprise and society.

In the morning of that day, at the departure ceremony of the 3rd Youth Cadre Training Class outreach training activity themed “Ride on Dreams, Live up to Youth,” Yu Xiaoning, Chairman, President of Dawn Group and Dean of Dawn Business School, delivered a mobilization speech, requiring attention to tempering willpower, refining character, and promoting the rapid growth of young talents. Wang Yongfang, Vice President of Dawn Group, hoped that young talents would prioritize the enterprise’s interests, be indifferent to personal gains and losses, be strict with themselves, and strive to become qualified good cadres. “With the transformation and upgrading of the industrial structure, the enterprise’s demand for talents is constantly increasing. It needs both internal driving force and external extensibility. On the morning of June 7th, the “Relay Yangtze River 17th Session” Dawn Visit activity of CKGSB, in which Yu Zhengyu, a student of the 2nd Youth Cadre Training Class of Dawn Business School, Assistant to the President of Dawn Group, and General Manager of Dawn Mould Plastic, participated, entered Dawn, kicking off a unique class-themed journey and a rare opportunity for communication and deepened cooperation.

Since its establishment, CKGSB has nurtured a batch of world-class business leaders for China and the world who possess a global vision, the ability to integrate global resources, connect global values, and take on global responsibilities, as well as humanistic care and an innovative spirit. It also cultivates the iterative force of the new economic generation that values social innovation. In the first-floor hall of Dawn Group’s headquarters, teachers and students of CKGSB were briefed on the enterprise’s development, industrial layout, industry status, technological innovation, and social responsibilities. They visited the Longkou New Materials Science and Technology Industrial Park to learn about the building of the industrial chain, product chain, and enterprise chain. “We cooperate with classmates' enterprises of CKGSB to develop precision molds for energy storage flow channels,” Yu Zhengyu, Assistant to the President, introduced the products to the classmates at Dawn Mould Plastic. “The Dawn Mould Plastic team provides value-added services in terms of delivery period advancement, technical improvement, and cost reduction, helping fellow enterprises lead the development of the energy storage industry.”

Subsequently, at the symposium held at Dawn Polymer, Assistant to the President Yu Zhengyu introduced the enterprise’s development, scientific research, and products to the teachers and students. Currently, Dawn’s industrial layout covers upstream high-end petrochemical raw material R&D and customization; special raw material polymerization; plastic and rubber material modification; recycled material (PCR) recycling and utilization; special equipment, precision mold, and product manufacturing, etc. “Hope everyone can have a deeper understanding of Dawn and empower each other in their respective careers,” Assistant to the President Yu Zhengyu said. After discussions, preliminary intentions of mutual partnership regarding Dawn’s core businesses or products of “One Circle, Three Chains” were reached with the classmates.

In terms of the average age, the students of the 3rd Youth Cadre Training Class of Dawn Business School and the “Relay Yangtze River 17th Session” of CKGSB are all post-90s, with a high proportion of undergraduate and master’s degrees, boasting strong personal qualities, comprehensive abilities, and future potential. “Enterprises have the responsibility to cultivate excellent young talents and inject strong impetus into the development of enterprises, society, the country, and the nation,” Yu Xiaoning, Chairman, commented.
