A few days ago, the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAC) issued the national standard "General Safety Technical Specifications for Liquid Pumps and Pump Units". The standard was proposed by the China Machinery Industry Federation and participated in the formulation by Yantai Longgang Pump Industry Co., Ltd., a joint venture of Dawn Group. It will be officially implemented on January 1st, 2025.

It is reported that the standard specifies the basic safety requirements for liquid pumps and pump units, safety requirements for both general and high-risk environments, and methods for verifying safety requirements and measures. The introduction of this standard not only provides unified safety technical requirements for the design, manufacture, installation, use, and maintenance of liquid pumps and pump units, but also promotes the standardized and regulated development of the pump industry.
