On the morning of November 21st, the Party Committee of Shandong Province and the People’s Government of Shandong Province held a private enterprise symposium in Jinan. Provincial leaders engaged in in-depth discussions with 60 private entrepreneurs, listened to their opinions and suggestions, shared experiences, analyzed the current economic landscape, and planned future initiatives to resolutely promote the high-quality development of the province's private economy. Lin Wu, Secretary of the Party Committee of Shandong Province, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. At a critical moment when Shandong Province is fully committed to promoting high-quality development and striving to achieve its annual goals, Shandong Province held this high-profile symposium, underscoring its significant importance. In addition to the speeches delivered by the 10 entrepreneur representatives during the meeting, two documents titled Key Challenges and Constraints Faced by Major Private Enterprises and Suggestions from Key Private Enterprises for Provincial Development were distributed and placed on the desks of all attendees.

To ensure the success of this symposium, the relevant departments in Shandong conducted an investigation into the specific challenges and constraints currently faced by all participating enterprises. Additionally, they collected feedback on optimizing the business environment, promoting high-quality development, and advancing high-level openness across the province. This process resulted in 68 specific challenges and 92 suggestions, each of which has been assigned to a designated responsible department for implementation.

The government's support for the private economy has been increasing, which has boosted the confidence of enterprises in development,” said Yu Xiaoning, Chairman of Dawn Group. He expressed his strong determination to lead the company in fully unlocking potential, expanding capacity, strengthening its core industries, focusing on becoming a world-class polymer materials enterprise, accelerating the cultivation of new productive forces, continuously enhancing its competitive edge, and striving to become one of the top 100 private enterprises in China by 2030.

Accelerating the transformation from "beads to chains, chains to clusters, and clusters to momentum" is the relentless pursuit of Dawn Group. At present, over 30 projects have been established in the Dawn New Materials Science and Technology Industrial Park in Longkou City. A number of major provincial projects will be put into production. Special copolyester, carbon nanomaterials and other projects are being accelerated, and another 40 billion yuan will be invested in the next five years. By strengthening chain thinking, Dawn Group will continue to strengthen its polymer new materials chain, titanium industry chain, and chemical equipment chain, and build an industrial park with "10,000 employees and 100 billion yuan in output value" by 2030.

Dawn Group will vigorously develop the circular economy, shoulder the important task of piloting enterprises in the construction of the green, low-carbon and high-quality development pilot zone in Shandong, strengthen "smart transformation and digital transformation" on the production side, strengthen the comprehensive utilization of waste by-products, and build zero-carbon production line workshops; on the supply side, it will magnify the advantages of PBAT polymerization modification, break the international monopoly of high-end degradable plastics and special bio-based materials, and open up the production and application of environmentally friendly plastic products such as degradable tableware, composite packaging, and agricultural mulch films, enabling the comprehensive green transformation of the economy and society.
