On November 7th, Sun Xizhong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Group and Vice Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Shandong Province, visited Dawn for investigation. He was accompanied by Sha Jiang, Minister of the Organization Department of the Federation of Trade Unions; Zhou Yongwei, Vice Chairman of the Yantai Municipal Federation of Trade Unions; Zhao Shujie, Deputy Secretary of the Longkou Municipal Committee; Sun Ping, Vice Chairman of the the People's Congress of Longkou city and Chairman of the Longkou Municipal Federation of Trade Unions. Wang Yongfang, Vice President of Dawn Group, accompanied the investigation.

At the Longkou Seafarers Service Center, the visiting leaders carefully learned about the development history of Dawn International Logistics Company, the construction of Dawn's self-owned fleet, the layout of the maritime industry, and the development of the foreign trade industry, and highly praised the achievements Dawn made in the development of its maritime business.

Subsequently, Vice Chairman Sun Xizhong visited the Dawn New Materials Exhibition Center, listened to the company's development, industrial layout and future planning, and learned about Dawn's technological innovation, core products and application fields. He encouraged Dawn to promote innovation and efficiency among all employees to enhance its market competitiveness.

After more than 20 years of robust growth, Dawn’s modern logistics industry has developed into a comprehensive intermodal transport system integrating road, rail, and water, becoming a key component of Dawn’s trade and logistics sector.  Now, Dawn operates four self-owned vessels—"Dawn 7", "Dawn 17", "Dawn 167" and "Dawn 168"—with a combined annual shipping capacity exceeding 150,000 tons.

In May 2015, the vessel "Dawn 7" bravely rescued a Ukrainian crew member who fallen overboard near Tianjin Port, and the entire crew was commended by Longkou City as a moral model for bravery. In 2020, the "Seaman's Bookstore" was officially settled on the "Dawn 7", becoming a primary space for crew members to strengthen ideological commitment, pursue cultural knowledge, and reinforce their ideals. "Dawn 17" was awarded the meritorious team of Yantai City's 2023 Innovation and Excellence Labor Competition. Du Chenglong, chief engineer of Dawn International Logistics Company, was awarded the "Excellent Crew of Shandong Province" in 2023.

In the future, the Trade Union of Dawn Group will actively respond to the requirements of unions at all levels, set its sights on broader maritime horizons, continue to strengthen its advantages in the domestic trade fleet, open a new chapter in the foreign trade market, enhance the development of the seafarer workforce, strengthen the modern logistics industry, and contribute more "Dawn power" to the development of the marine economy.
