On November 1st, Jiang Duntao, Deputy Mayor of Chongqing, visited Dawn Polymer (Chongqing) Co., Ltd. to conduct research and guidance. He encouraged the company to refine and expand its industry, product and enterprise chains, continue to grow, strengthen and optimize, and enhance market competitiveness and sustainable development capabilities. Leaders from the People’s Government of Chongqing City, as well as the Party Committee and District Government of Jiangjin District , accompanied the investigation.
The Dawn Polymer Materials Southwest Headquarters Base Project, invested and constructed by the wholly-owned subsidiary of Dawn Polymer-Dawn Polymer (Chongqing) Company, is located in Jiangjin District Comprehensive Bonded Zone (Luohuang Industrial Park). It plans to build a Science and Technology Innovation Center, a Polymer New Materials Production Center, and a Trade Center, promoting the integrated development of science, industry, and trade. With an annual planned capacity of 100,000 tons, the trial production of the first phase of the project began in March this year and the production capacity will be gradually released thereafter.
After listening to the report on the company's development and future plans, Deputy Mayor Jiang Duntao visited the production workshop to gain a detailed understanding of the company's operations, technological innovation, product performance, and market applications. He expressed his recognition of Dawn's strategy to expand in the Southwest region and invited Chairman Yu Xiaoning to visit Chongqing for further discussions. He encouraged the company to extend its industry chain both upstream and downstream, seize market opportunities, base itself on Chongqing, face the southwest, and ultimately radiate into the central and western regions of China.
According to the introduction, Dawn Polymer (Chongqing) Company mainly produces modified plastics, masterbatches, biodegradable materials, and other products, which are widely used in industries such as automotive transportation, home appliances, telecommunications, aerospace, and healthcare. In the future, the company will align with regional characteristics, highlight industry features, and cultivate its corporate strengths to drive the development of high-end, green, and intelligent technologies, and establish itself as an important domestic research and manufacturing base for polymer materials.
