On October 18th, the "Qilu Pharmaceutical Cup" Shandong Province's 3rd Yellow River Basin Chemical Industry High-Quality Development Skills Competition concluded at the Qilu Pharmaceutical Biomedicine Industrial Park. Wang Wei, the head of the quality control department at Dawn Titanium Industry Co., Ltd, won the third prize in the chemical testing competition, showcasing the excellent skill level and spirit of Dawn's industrial workers.
This competition was hosted by the Federation of Trade Unions of Shandong Province and organized by the Shandong Petrochemical Trade Union and the Federation of Trade Unions of Jinan City, which aimed to solidly promote the major national strategy for the development of the Yellow River Basin, advance ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin, vigorously promote the spirit of model workers, labor, and craftsmanship, and enhance the skill levels of workers in the chemical industry.
At the event, the "Shandong Petrochemical Industry Craftsman Academy" was inaugurated. It was understood that this competition closely followed the production reality of the chemical industry, and had two competition items: chemical testing and emergency rescue. It was divided into two parts: theoretical examination and skills assessment. Over 150 contestants from trade union teams across 15 cities in Shandong competed, showcasing their skills. "Competing with experts reveals the gaps. In the future, I will promote the 'three spirits' and strive to be a model of excellence," said Wang Wei.
As an all-employee innovation enterprise in Shandong Province, Dawn Group has highlighted industry characteristics, corporate characteristics and trade union features over the years, integrated various resources, improved incentive mechanisms, and provide a comprehensive platform for the improvement of industrial workers' quality and innovation. In the future, it will continue to deepen the reform of building the industrial worker team, strengthen skills training and job practice, and cultivate more "skilled craftsmen" for the high-quality development of enterprises.
