On September 29th, the Longkou Branch of Yantai City High-Quality Development Major Project Construction Site Promotion Meeting was held at the Dawn high-performance PCTG, TPU and polyol project site. Li Wanping, Secretary of the Longkou Municipal Party Committee, reported on the progress of major project construction across the city. Attendees included city leaders, heads of relevant departments and townships, Dawn Group’s Chairman and President Yu Xiaoning, members of Dawn Group’s leadership team, heads of various functional departments and business units, as well as representatives from the construction units.

It is reported that Longkou City has a total of 11 projects participating in this centralized commencement, with a total investment of CNY 15.035 billion and an annual planned investment of CNY 3.8 billion. These quality projects include smart manufacturing, port construction and agricultural-photovoltaic complementary power generation, covering various fields such as renewable energy, high-end equipment, green chemicals, and modern efficient agriculture.

"Our project features independently developed technology that utilizes advanced processes such as multi-element catalysis, multi-monomer copolymerization, multi-component casting, and multi-stage screw synthesis, breaking the foreign technology monopoly," said Xiao Hui, Executive Vice President of Dawn Group, in an interview with reporters. He noted that the products of this project could achieve import substitution in fields such as medical devices, food packaging, automotive manufacturing, and industrial transmission. And they are key materials for the transformation and upgrading of high-end manufacturing industries like electronics, biomedicine, and resource exploration.

The high-performance PCTG, TPU, and polyol projects of Dawn involve the installation of over 2,500 new pieces of equipment (sets). In addition to having independently developed core technologies, these projects also have strong industrial chain radiation effects and outstanding comprehensive revenue-generating capabilities. Moving forward, Dawn will leverage this site promotion meeting as motivation, use project construction as support, anchor its strategic goals, win decisively in the fourth quarter and contribute more “Dawn Power” to accelerate the building of green, low-carbon and high-quality development demonstration city of Yantai city.
