Using labor competitions to boost the construction of the industrial workforce is a distinctive highlight of the trade union work at Dawn Group. The "Dawn 17" vessel operates year-round without stopping, with a maximum of 4 voyages per month, achieving a customer satisfaction rate of 100% and exceeding the set targets. The entire team actively engaged in competition activities such as escorting and ensuring supply, safety emergencies, and was awarded the title of Innovative and Excellent Labor Competition Exemplary Team in Yantai City for the year 2023. Du Chenglong, the Chief Engineer of Dawn International Logistics Company, was recommended for commendation as an advanced individual in the national "Ankang Cup" competition.

Dawn Group is recognized as an all-around innovation enterprise in Shandong Province. Dawn-SWT Company independently developed and launched the first Chinese bi-component non-woven fabric production line. The company's core product, the bi-component non-woven aqua cotton series, exhibits uniform fabric, fluffiness, softness, excellent drapability, high breathability, and outstanding skin-friendly properties. Its complete set of key technologies for preparation reaches the international advanced level, and it won the second prize of Yantai City's 2023 Employee Outstanding Technological Innovation Achievements Award.

Dawn Polymer is dedicated to the research, development, production, sales, and service of high-performance thermoplastic elastomers, modified plastics, masterbatches, and other products. Just before the "May Day" holiday, the company's R&D director, Wang Hong, was honored as the "Longkou Craftsman" and was named as one of the top ten female workers in Yantai City for her outstanding contributions. It is reported that Wang Hong's team has conducted nearly ten thousand experiments on plastic modification and improvement over the years, developing eight major categories and four series of products. With over 600 product models available for bulk supply, they have contributed significantly to the lightweight, green, and high-end development of automotive materials in China.

As the core R&D team of Dawn Polymer, the Injection Material R&D Group of the Elastomer R&D Department has just been awarded the "Worker Pioneer Medal of Shandong Province," embodying the essence of "first-class work, first-class service, first-class performance, and first-class team." The workers in this group are rooted in frontline scientific research. They developed multiple preparation technologies such as the preparation method of thermoplastic vulcanizate and the development and application of thermoplastic medical bromobutyl rubber, which were recognized with awards such as the China Patent Excellence Award and the Second Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award in Shandong Province. Previously, they were honored as an outstanding science and technology innovation team in Yantai City and as exemplary female workers in Shandong Province.
