On December 1st, Dawn New Building Materials Company held a ceremony for the production launch of its solid waste recycling and regeneration environmental brick/stone project. The project achieved "commencing construction and commencing production in the same year," serving as a new engine for green, low-carbon, and high-quality development. Li Lei, deputy mayor of People’s Government of Longkou city, Qin Yi, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee of Longkou Economic Development Zone and secretary of the Party Working Committee of Longgang Street, relevant leaders of the Municipal Development and Reform Bureau and Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, and Yu Xiaoning, chairman and president of Dawn Group, Executive Vice President Xiao Hui and team members, heads of functional departments, general managers, deputy general managers and directors in charge of sales and infrastructure of operating units in Longkou attended the event.

It is understood that China currently has an accumulated stockpile of approximately 60 billion tons of bulk solid waste, with an annual increment of nearly 3 billion tons. There are challenges associated with low utilization efficiency, significant land resource occupation, and substantial safety risks. In response to these challenges, with in-depth implementation of the concept of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", Dawn New Building Materials Company uses modern technical means to recycle bulk solid waste and produces PC imitation stone bricks, curb stones and other new building materials products with titanium gypsum, stone powder and stone chips, fly ash, slag and other solid waste as raw materials.

"As a genuinely green and environmentally friendly project, our project integrates the research and development, production, and sales of new building materials products. These products are widely used in real estate and municipal engineering, providing significant economic, environmental, and social benefits," said the company's general manager, Luan Hui. He further mentioned that they would accelerate the construction of commercial concrete projects, effectively extend the new building materials industry chain, strive to enhance the core competitiveness and brand influence of Dawn's new building materials and  contribute more to promoting green development.

Wang Keyou, Vice President of Dawn Group, stated that "Make the affiliated enterprises refined" was one of the core elements of Dawn Group's "14th Five-Year Plan" strategic planning, and Dawn New Building Materials Company was an important member of the affiliated enterprises. The solid waste recycling and regeneration environmental brick/stone project of the company aligns with Dawn Group's pursuit of green development, which is expected to play a significant role in improving urban environments.
