On July 26th, the completion ceremony of the induction training for 2023 college graduates of Dawn Group was held at the Dawn Lakeside Hotel. Chairman and President of Dawn Group, Dean of Dawn Business School Yu Xiaoning, Executive Vice President Xiao Hui, and Vice President Liu Lili attended the event.

More than 200 newly hired university graduates from Qingdao New Material Company, Qingdao Rich Material Company, Dawn Polymer (Chongqing) Company, KPIC Dawn Polymer (Shanghai) Company, Dawn Polymer (Beijing) Company, and Dawn Headquarters successfully completed their 21-day training and learning program.

This training was compact and orderly, rich in content and diverse in form. It consisted of on-the-spot visits, military training, outdoor development, intensive training and other links, aiming to let new employees experience the development history and achievements of Dawn Group for more than 30 years, deeply understand the profound corporate culture connotation, experience the work spirit and and work style of Dawn people, and enhance the sense of belonging and accomplishment of new employees.

During the welcoming ceremony held on July 6th, Vice President Liu Lili introduced the company's overview, product structure, talent development, and other relevant information to the new employees. She expressed her hope that the new university graduates would approach their roles with a fresh mindset, establish a clear direction for themselves, work diligently, and use their work and life experiences to enrich and elevate themselves. On July 7th, the new employees learned about the industrial chain, product chain, and enterprise chain of Dawn Group through on-site visits, and were shocked by Dawn's development achievements.

Although challenging, the 10-day military training was proved to be a valuable experience for the new employees. Despite the scorching heat and adverse weather conditions, everyone faced the training with determination and perseverance. This training not only reinforced a sense of national defense awareness but also honed their resilience and discipline. Furthermore, it boosted their teamwork skills and fostered a strong sense of collaboration, providing a solid foundation for quickly adapting to the professional environment and working effectively as part of a team.

Military report

On July 21st, Chi Fengde, deputy director of the Organization Department of the Longkou Municipal Party Committee and director of the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, reviewed the military training results of new employees together with the leaders of Dawn Group and heads of various departments. The uniform pace, sonorous and powerful slogans, resolute and upright posture, and courageous and enterprising demeanor won rounds of applause. After the military training, everyone said that after returning to their posts, they should carry forward the spirit and style of "three doings and three beings" and make more contributions to the company's development.

The outdoor team-building activity with the theme "Tomorrow's Redwood" was full of fun and excitement. The event included ice-breaking warm-ups, step-by-step challenges, matching straw hats, creative drawing, tower of Hanoi, digital castle, team energy, and human letter formation. During the team-building exercises, the new employees brainstormed, collaborated, and learned the importance of teamwork trust, effective communication, empathetic thinking, organizational skills, leadership abilities, execution capabilities, and team collaboration in management.

Expansion training

During the 2-day theoretical learning phase, the new employees comprehensively learned about various aspects of the company, including corporate culture, Dawn's history, company strategies, product structure, human resources management, administrative management, financial management, safety management, risk prevention, and more. This not only equipped them with specific work methods and processes but also helped them identify potential pitfalls, enabling them to work more efficiently and avoid unnecessary detours in their future tasks.

Theoretical study

During the closing ceremony, the attending leaders engaged in a question and answer session addressing topics such as the company's developmental journey, strategic planning, the potential for growth in various business units, the transformation of roles in the workplace, individual learning and growth. As a representative of senior employee, Ma Wen, the Executive Deputy General Manager of Dawn Titanium, shared his own insights from working at Dawn. He encouraged the new employees to continuously learn and improve themselves, and grow together with the company. "I will strive to become an outstanding Dawn member with the spirit of dedication, professional competence, entrepreneurial ability, and passion for success," said Wang Xingang, a representative of the new employees.

Making the right choice is equivalent to achieving success. In order to facilitate a two-way connection between college students and the company, Dawn Group organized well-structured job introduction sessions and interview communication activities. The aim was to leverage the students' professional abilities and personal strengths, achieving accurate job matching.
