On June 18th, at around 3:00 pm, on a weekend afternoon coinciding with Father's Day, Xu Nan, together with his wife and son, was enjoying their time at Ruyi Lake Park when they suddenly heard cries for help.

"Someone fell into the lake! Help, we need help!" Xu Nan turned around and saw a boy struggling about 5 meters away in the water. Without a second thought, he rushed to the lake and jumped in. "At that moment, the boy was already about two meters away from the shore. The water was quite deep and it was risky! Recently, Ruyi Lake Park has been a popular destination in Jiaozhou. The boy was playing by the lake with his grandfather. The lake has varying depths, with the deepest point being close to 4 meters. The area where the boy fell in was particularly steep. "In a hurry, I didn't have time to take off my clothes and shoes before jumping in. My phone and keys in my pocket were still there," Xu Nan said. Although he got soaking wet while saving the child, he felt relieved when the child was rescued.
