On August 24th, the 1.5-day Dawn Group’s 2022 college student development training activity was successfully concluded. Nearly 50 children of Dawn employees and children from villages surrounding Dawn who had been admitted to colleges and universities in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree or above participated in the activity. It was reported that since 2013, Dawn Group has organized this activity for 10 consecutive years and awarded more than CNY 400,000 scholarships, fully fulfilling the corporate mission of "developing the enterprises, making the employees happy, and returning back to the society".

Zhou Yuewu, the member of the party leadership group of Longkou Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and director of the Employment Center, Xin Yue, deputy secretary of the party branch of the Employment Center, Yu Xiaoning, chairman and president of Dawn Group, dean of Dawn Business school, and Liu Lili, vice president of Dawn Group, vice dean of Dawn Business school, attended the event.

At the launching ceremony, Vice President Liu Lili congratulated the young students for their success in the National College Entrance Examination and introduced the corporate culture, development history, social contribution, and support and care for the education of Dawn Group.

Afterward, the college students visited the headquarters of Dawn Group, the Longkou New Material Technology Industrial Park constructed and managed by Dawn, and the key enterprises in the park. During the visit, employees' children took photos with their parents who were working in their position. The photos recorded the happy smiling faces and touching images of parents and children. The words "I love you" and "Dad (Mom), thank you for your hard working and dedication!" expressed the children's feelings and their gratitude.

What is university life like? A thematic discussion and exchange activity taught an important lesson for college students. Representatives of past outstanding college students of Dawn Group communicated in terms of friendship, love, course arrangement, club activities, student union, and career planning，so that everyone had a clear understanding of college life and academic planning. 

In the fun and exciting development training activities, the "Digital Castle" cultivated students' self-knowledge and self-transcendence spirit and the courage to face difficulties and challenges; the "World Ball" allowed students to fully experience teamwork and cultivate perseverance; the "Traffic Jam" aimed to make students understand themselves and find out their positions; the “Nasca giant painting” painted by them with the brushes in their hands fully demonstrated their overflowing youth and the vision for a better future.

Qu Rihua, a master’s degree student who graduated from Shenyang University of Technology in 2020 and majored in new material synthesis and application technology, a technician from the R&D department II of Dawn Polymer, shared his work experience with the students as a representative of Dawn Group employees, and encouraged the students to study diligently, be grateful, and live up to the great trust of the times and the expectations of their relatives.

Jiang Xianzhen, a representative of undergraduates from the Minzu University of China, said, "Through the visit, we walked into the place where our parents struggled, we really felt the hard work of our parents, and we really understood our parents. I am so proud to have a company like Dawn in our hometown and proud that our parents are employees of Dawn. " He promised, "In the future university life, I must study hard, enrich myself, improve myself, and achieve myself."

"When I was admitted to the undergraduate in 2018, I missed the outreach training organized by Dawn because I needed to arrive at the school in advance. I saw the publicity of the event on the Dawn Group's WeChat public account, and the scene of the students participating in the activity with passion made me excited. What a big pity for me!" Zhang Chengkun, the representative of the master students and student from Dalian Maritime University, said that fortunately, he was successfully admitted to the postgraduate program this year, which gave him the opportunity to participate in this activity with excitement and happiness.
