June 28th was the 31st anniversary of the establishment of Dawn Group. On the morning of that day, Shandong Dawn SWT Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as Dawn SWT) held a ceremony for the commissioning of its high-end nonwovens (Longkou) base, which marked the further extension of Dawn's product chain, enterprise chain, and industrial chain, and demonstrated a new level of nonwoven technology in China. 

Ning Shenglong, Vice Chairman of Longkou CPPCC and Deputy Director of Longkou Economic Development Zone Management Committee, and Yu Xiaoning, Chairman and President of Dawn Group, attended the event and delivered speeches. Dawn Group's resident cadres at the ministerial level and above, the deputy general managers in charge of marketing in each business unit, and Dawn-SWT’s cadres and employees participated in the event.

According to reports, in July 2020, Dawn Group and Shandong SWT New Material Technology Co., Ltd signed an investment cooperation agreement. Since then, Dawn-SWT was established to further open and enrich the entire industrial chain of medical nonwovens.

Shen Zhangfei, general manager of Dawn-SWT, said, "As a manufacturer specializing in the production of non-woven materials and non-woven equipment, we integrate innovation in non-woven materials, equipment, processes and applications, and provide comprehensive solutions to meet the needs of global customers." He said that Dawn-SWT had mastered the independent intellectual property rights from non-woven equipment R&D and production, non-woven technology, formulation to final product application in the whole process, and independently developed and put the first parallel bi-component non-woven production line into production in China. Among them, the newly launched 3D liquid cotton non-woven fabric is a continuous small spiral crimped fiber microscopically. Its fabric surface is more fluffy and even with a disordered uniform web forming and excellent drapability.

"3D liquid cotton non-woven fabric completely solves the skin irritation shortcomings of hot air non-woven fabrics. It has the advantages of super softness, great cotton texture, zero irritation, high skin-friendly performance, excellent air permeability, which reaches the international leading level in terms of quality." General Manager Shen Zhangfei said.

The planned production capacity of the first phase of Dawn SWT high-end non-woven fabric (Longkou) base is 30,000 tons/year, which can produce surface layers, bottom layers, waistlines of sanitary products and non-woven fabrics for diaper leg-cuff, and other filter materials. General Manager Shen Zhangfei said that in the future, they would consider building new production bases in hygiene products agglomeration areas, like Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujia, Guangdong, to expand production capacity and meet market demand. In addition, as consumers' awareness of environmental protection increases, biodegradable material becomes a hot spot in product development. Dawn SWT plans to develop PLA and PVT materials to provide customers with environmentally friendly and comfortable non-woven fabrics.
