From January 15th to 17th, the 14th party Congress of Longkou city of the Communist Party of China was held in the auditorium of the Municipal Administrative Conference Center. Lv Bo, Secretary of the Longkou Municipal Party Committee, made a report on behalf of the 13th Municipal Party Committee, and Li Wanping, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, presided over the meeting. Re-elected members of the 13th and 14th Municipal Party Committee, Yu Xiaoning, Chairman and President of Dawn Group, attended the closing meeting. Han Yongwei, General manager of Rongchang Logistics Company, a subsidiary of Dawn Group, was elected as the representative of the 14th Party Congress of Longkou City and participated in the whole meeting.

Secretary Lv Bo pointed out in the report "Dedicated to Comprehensively Leading Development to Write a Chapter that Leaps and Overtakes, and Strive to Build a Northern Model and a leading city in Shandong Province For High-quality Development in County Areas" that it is necessary to "Rush to build a regional high-end manufacturing center， a modern logistics portal, and an important port gateway under the dual-cycle system".

General Manager Han Yongwei said that in the future, Dawn will focus on building an International Logistics Center surrounding the port, adding container trains from Longkou to Qingdao, from Longkou to Xinjiang with the leading of railway logistics park, and supporting the construction of a special line logistics industrial park. Before 2025, a 30,000-ton and a 50,000-ton bulk carrier will be added, and a new 15,000-ton foreign trade ship will also be added to contribute to the port's cargo and container throughput.

When talking about the development strategy and promotion measures in the next five years, Secretary Lv Bo emphasized that it was necessary to deeply implement the three strategies of "scale expansion, connotation improvement, and environmental friendliness", and create an industrial energy level "leading area", an innovation-driven "demonstration area", an effective investment "model area", double recruitment and double introduction "aggregation area", park carrying "high-quality area", reform and opening up "active area".

The meeting emphasized that the next five years would be the crucial five years for Longkou to take the lead in an all-around way and to leapfrog and catch up. It also is an important five years for Longkou city to take the lead in building a modern and powerful county-level city in Shandong province. Chairman Yu Xiaoning said that Dawn would thoroughly implement the spirit of the party congress of Longkou city of the Communist Party of China,  give full play to the four advantages of scientific research, industry, parks, and talents as the "14th Five-Year Plan" deployed, adhere to the business philosophy of "product-rooted, people-oriented, technology-led, and customer-first", increase independent innovation, accelerate project construction, do a good job of "double recruitment and double introduction", strive to build 100 billion-level enterprises and 100-billion-level parks, and contribute more "Dawn Power" to the economic and social development of Longkou City with the mental state of hard work and the responsibility of doing business
