On the morning of April 28, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions held a celebration of International Workers' Day and a commendation meeting for the National May Day Labor Medals at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. The Injection Molding Materials R&D Group of the Elastomer R&D Department of Dawn Polymer was awarded the title of "National Worker Pioneer (National May Day Women's Pacesetter Post)". Team leader Sun Xianru attended the commendation meeting in Beijing and participated in the Shandong Provincial Symposium celebrating International Workers' Day held in Jinan on April 29. This marked the second time Dawn Polymer employees had received the "National May Day Labor Medal" since the company received the "National May Day Labor Certificate" in 2021.

It is understood that the National May Day Labor Award is the highest honor awarded by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions to outstanding workers, enterprises, institutions, and organizations since 1985. The May Day Labor Medal is awarded to individuals, the May Day Labor Certificate to organizations, and the "Worker Pioneer" title to departments, workshops, work groups, or offices within organizations.

Compared with previous years, there have been new changes in the name description this year. The National May 1st Labor Medal, the National May 1st Labor Certificate, and the National Worker Pioneer Award are now collectively referred to as the National May 1st Labor Award. Female employees who are commended individually or collectively (or whose numbers reach a certain proportion) will be awarded the National May 1st Labor Medal (National May 1st Women's Pacesetter) and the National Worker Pioneer Award (National May 1st Women's Pacesetter Post) respectively.

"Receiving this honor is the greatest reward for Dawn and the R&D team, and it has injected new and powerful momentum into our in-depth scientific research and unwavering commitment to innovation." At the symposium celebrating International Workers' Day in Shandong Province, Sun Xianru gave a presentation to Lin Wu, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, entitled "Embroidering in the Molecular Gap: Making China Lead the World in Thermoplastic Elastomer Materials," reporting on the team's technological innovation story of "staying true to original aspirations to shoulder heavy responsibilities, refining skills to reveal the hidden talents, and pooling the strength to go far."

Deeply rooted in the new materials industry, the award-winning team is a pioneering research team primarily composed of women. "Standing at a new starting point, we will continue to vigorously promote the spirit of model workers, the spirit of labor, and the spirit of craftsmanship. With unwavering resilience and core strength, we will continue to overcome 'bottleneck' problems, enabling high-end materials made in China to reach a broader market, and contributing to Shandong's high-quality development and the construction of a manufacturing powerhouse in China!" Sun Xianru's words represent the sentiments of all Dawn employees.
