On December 19th, at the 7th "Hidden Champion of Chinese Manufacturing" Evergreen Symposium and Awards Ceremony held in Beijing, Qingdao Haina New Materials Co., Ltd. The "Hidden Champion of Chinese Manufacturing" selection was jointly initiated in 2017 by China and Foreign Management Media and 18 authoritative domestic and international business management experts. It is a purely public-benefit annual selection of specialized, innovative, and high-level enterprises with international professional background and standards. Currently, the event has been held for seven consecutive years. And the selection includes two titles: "Hidden Champion of Chinese Manufacturing" enterprises at the forefront of their respective  industries, and "Craftsmen of the Times" enterprises with outstanding development.

According to reports, this year's selection process expanded from focusing solely on "China's No. 1" to include assessing whether hidden champion companies can achieve a dominant position in specific global market segments. The evaluation criteria include: Are their global expansion strategies ready and in action? Do their quantified carbon emission data serve as industry benchmarks and can digitalization and intelligentization effectively integrate with new corporate strategies and empower new business operations? Can their strategic planning be aligned with enhancing the competitiveness of the entire industry chain? Therefore, the 36 "hidden champion" and "craftsman of the times" companies selected this year represent a higher level of recognition than ever before.

During the Chain Leaders' Speech Session that afternoon, Vice President Li Yang delivered a speech titled "Haier Smart Home's Ecological Rainforest Empowerment." He explained, "Haier and Dawn have achieved industry leadership, responded to low-carbon requirements, and fulfilled their social responsibility through innovation in new chemical materials, jointly establishing a recycling factory." He used the example of Haier and Dawn's ecological co-creation to illustrate the vivid practice of ecological empowerment.

A strong financial nation and a robust supply chain for hidden champions are the main themes of this event.
