On December 8th, at the 8th Congress of the Yantai Science and Technology Association held at the Dongshan Hotel, Tian Hongchi, General Manager of Dawn Polymer, was elected Vice Chairman of the Yantai Science and Technology Association. This was the second time that a Dawn science and technology worker has held a concurrent social position in the local science and technology community, following Chen Qingkui, Dean of Dawn Research Institute, who was elected Vice Chairman of Longkou Science and Technology Association in 2022. This demonstrates Dawn's scientific research strength, regional influence and social contribution.

Jiang Cheng, member of the Standing Committee of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Yantai Municipal Party Committee, emphasized that the upcoming "15th Five-Year Plan" period is a crucial time for Yantai to accumulate strength and achieve breakthroughs. The vast number of science and technology workers should actively participate in the main battlefield of building a science and technology-strong city, making new contributions to the new journey of accelerating the construction of a green, low-carbon, and high-quality development demonstration city.
