On the evening of September 4, at the 2nd Longkou Public Charity Gala, themed “Gathering Goodness for a Better Life,” held at the Civic Activity Center Plaza—coinciding with the 10th “China Charity Day” and the launch of Longkou’s charity culture “Five Entries” campaign—Dawn Group won the 2024 “Charitable Donation Philanthropic Enterprise Award” and “Special Contribution Award for Community Fund Online Donation,” demonstrating its responsibility through kindness.

The event aimed to foster a strong atmosphere of “everyone participates in public welfare and charity.” Yu Yanli, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC, Director of Civil Affairs Bureau, and President of the Charity Federation, and Wang Yongfang, Vice President of Dawn Group and Vice President of the Charity Federation, attended the event.

As a local original private enterprise in Longkou, Dawn Group has pursued its mission of “developing the enterprise, benefiting employees, and repaying society” for over 30 years, investing nearly 100 million yuan in public welfare and charity. Since last year, it has continued to fund teacher and student awards at Longkou No. 1 Middle School, donated to build roads and the school gate for Beizao School, visited students and elderly people in schools and villages near the enterprise, and supported rural revitalization—spreading the power of love.

This year, Longkou innovated its charity model by launching online donations via the “Longci Great Love” intelligent assistance platform developed by the Civil Affairs Bureau. Dawn Group made outstanding contributions to the 2025 community fund online donation campaign, earning the award. Earlier, Dawn donated to Longkou’s first county-level charity community fund and established the Xinglongzhuang Village Community Charity Fund in Longgang Sub-district, focusing on the needs of community residents and supporting poverty alleviation and other charitable projects.

Currently, Longkou is continuously enhancing the moral depth, spiritual height, and charitable warmth of a “city of good people.” In the future, Dawn will uphold charitable concepts, promote the construction of the “Longci Great Love” public welfare brand, and contribute more “Dawn strength” to the high-quality development of Longkou’s public welfare and charity cause.
