On December 2nd, Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, President of the People's Republic of China, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, attended the fourth symposium on the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative in Beijing and delivered an important speech. He emphasized the need to strengthen strategic confidence, maintain strategic determination, and take on responsibilities to create a brighter future for the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative.
