On June 20th, at the strategic cooperation promotion meeting between Dawn Polymer and Tianda Waterproof held in Xinxiang, Henan, the two companies signed an order for 2,000 tons of thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) material for waterproof membrane. "In the future, we will leverage our respective advantages to deepen cooperation in the research and development, supply, and innovation of TPO raw material," said Wang Zefang, Executive Vice General Manager of Dawn Polymer.

TPO for waterproof membranes is a new type of green and environmentally friendly waterproofing material, hailed as one of the top waterproof materials in the world today. "We began developing TPO material for waterproof membrane in 2017 and launched it on the market two years later," said Chen Wenquan, Deputy Chief Engineer of Dawn Polymer. He noted that with the increasing domestic demand for environmental protection and safety, the demand for TPO waterproof membranes has exploded. In the first half of this year, sales of Dawn's TPO material for waterproof membrane increased by 45% compared to the same period last year.
