On September 18th, Yantai City held the launching ceremony of the Entrepreneur Growth Mentoring System at the Yantai Public Companies Innovation Alliance famous teacher lecture event. Zheng Deyan, Deputy Secretary of the Yantai Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, and Kou Guangwu, President of Wanhua Chemical and President of the Yantai Public Companies Innovation Alliance, delivered speeches. Shen Jian, Member of the Yantai Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor, presented letters of appointment to mentor company leaders. Yu Xiaoning, Chairman of Dawn Group and Dawn Polymer, attended the event and accepted the appointment letter on stage.

Listed companies are considered as the "cornerstone" of the real economy， which play a leading role in driving innovation and promoting economic transformation and upgrading. It was mentioned that the Yantai Public Companies Innovation Alliance was inaugurated in May, 2023. It is composed of local listed companies, companies planning to go public, and subsidiaries of companies listed outside Yantai city, with the first batch of 77 memeber units.

During this event, Song Zhiping, the President of the China Association of Public Companies, gave a lecture on how to improve the quality and value creation capabilities of listed companies. Additionally, Qu Sixiao, Senior Senior Manager of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, focused on the theme of opportunities and challenges for ESG development in Chinese companies. While attending these lectures, Chairman Yu Xiaoning continued to share his learning insights in the wechat group of Dawn Group's executive office. He said, "Every general manager should be an entrepreneur. We all need to focus on the seven high-ends and four cores to enhance the core competitiveness of Dawn Group."

Being appointed as an entrepreneur growth mentor in Yantai City is Chairman Yu Xiaoning’s “new title” after becoming a young entrepreneur mentor of Shandong Province in 2022. Chairman Yu Xiaoning said that in order to carry forward the entrepreneurial spirit, they must firstly cultivate internal "entrepreneurs", especially the preparations for Dawn Titanium, a key IPO reserve company in Shandong province. In accordance with the requirements of the mentorship system, they also need to provide precise assistance to the leaders of paired companies to help them achieve healthy and stable development, and demonstrate the responsibility of leading enterprises.

Mayor Zheng Deyan emphasized that the purpose of establishing the Yantai Public Companies Innovation Alliance was to create an ecosystem for the high-quality development of listed companies in Yantai, set an example for government-enterprise interaction and service to businesses, and nurture more high-quality and sustainable listed enterprises. He hopes that the Yantai Public Companies Innovation Alliance can play a pivotal role in deepening cooperation among enterprises in various aspects such as the industrial chain, supply chain, and innovation chain, build a bridge of communication at all levels of "government, industry, academia, research, finance, and administration" to make the "Yantai sector" of the capital market bigger and stronger.
