On the morning of September 1st, the 2023 "Chinese Charity Day" theme promotion and the establishment ceremony of the community charity fund in Longkou City were held at Poly Square. A total of 19 community charity funds were established, marking a new chapter in the development of charity in Longkou. It was reported that after donating to establish the Longkou City Fudong Community Charity Fund in 2022, the first county-level charity organization in Longkou City, Dawn Group once again donated to establish the Xinglongzhuang Village Community Charity Fund in Longgang Street, Longkou City. This fund was dedicated to supporting the growth of outstanding students in the surrounding communities, caring for the elderly in their later years, and improving rural infrastructure construction and other public welfare undertakings.

"It is hoped that all villages will take the opportunity of setting up charitable funds to scientifically plan charitable service projects such as community development, public service improvement, and poverty alleviation." Wang Peijie, a member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Civil Affairs Bureau of Yantai City, spoke highly of the construction of community charity funds in Longkou City. He hoped that Longkou City would allow charitable aid to reach those in need and save real people, and truly use limited charity funds to the groups and projects in most urgent need, so as to maximize and optimize the effect of charity aid.
