On August 14th, the China National Textile and Apparel Council held a technological achievement appraisal meeting for the project "Key Technologies and Industrialization of Bi-Component Spunbond Nonwoven Materials Preparation" in Longkou, Shandong. Leaders and experts from the China National Textile and Apparel Council, CTA, China Nonwovens and Industrial Textile Association, as well as appraisal institutions, higher education institutions, and relevant enterprises attended the event.
According to the information provided, the project was jointly completed by Shandong Dawn SWT Technology Co., Ltd. and Qingdao University. The expert group listened to the project's technical leader's work report and technical presentation on the scientific and technological achievements. After reviewing technical documents, conducting on-site inspections, raising questions and receiving answers, and engaging in rigorous discussions, the expert group unanimously agreed that the overall technology of the project has reached an international advanced level.
The project independently developed a specialized modified bi-component spunbond material that altered the interface polarity, resulting in products with enhanced fluffiness and stability. They also introduced a plate-type melt flexible distribution technology and developed a high-throughput, multi-gradient stretching system, which enabled controlled curling of bi-component fibers during the spinning process. Additionally, they invented a multi-layer composite, fluffy, 3D dimensional, and soft nonwoven fabric molding technology, achieving high-speed and stable production of fine-denier dual-component nonwoven materials.
Only by mastering core technology can we gain the initiative in development. This project holds independent intellectual property rights and has built the first set of 3S flexible bi-component spunbond nonwoven production line in China. It has achieved a combined annual production capacity of 21,000 tons across three lines. The products have wide applications in fields like medical and sanitary supplies, resulting in significant economic and social benefits. "We recommend further market expansion and increased promotional applications," commented the expert group.
