On the morning of June 28th, the third congress of the Longkou Association for Science and Technology was held, and a new chairman, vice-chairman, and outstanding representatives were elected. Chen Qingkui, Dean of Dawn Group Research Institute, was elected as the Vice-Chairman of the Third Committee of Longkou Association for Science and Technology.

Chen Haitao, Chairman of Yantai Association for Science and Technology, and Lv Bo, Secretary of Longkou Municipal Party Committee, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Xia Junqing, a member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the Propaganda Department, presided over the meeting. Leaders of Longkou city, Lian Shuqin and Yang Chengxian, and 196 official representatives from all fronts of the city attended the meeting.
