On June 6th, the Ninth Congress of Longkou Federation of Industry and Commerce was held in Longkou Administrative Center. Li Jingbo, Vice Chairman of Yantai CPPCC and Chairman of Federation of Industry and Commerce, and leaders of Longkou City, Lv Bo, Li Wanping, Ma Jijia, Gao Jingbo, Pan Li, and Sun Ping attended the meeting; Yu Xiaoning, Chairman and President of Dawn Group, attended the meeting and was selected as the Chairman of the Ninth Executive Committee of the Longkou Federation of Industry and Commerce and President of the General Chamber of Commerce.

At the meeting, Lv Bo, Secretary of the Longkou Municipal Party Committee, fully affirmed the achievements of Longkou Federation of Industry and Commerce in participating in and deliberating on government affairs, serving the development of enterprises, attracting investment, and expanding employment. He emphasized that non-public economic personnel should focus on industry, refine the main business, and use the "small progress" of each enterprise to promote the "big speed-up" of the development of Longkou city; The Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce should play a good role in connecting, guiding and serving, establish a strong sense of service to enterprises, implement the system of "big and small service specialists", and provide more assistance to enterprises in strengthening economic services, legal services and outreach services; In the work of project approval, formalities, loan financing, recruitment, employment, etc., they should make suggestions for enterprises, effectively create a good business environment for the development of enterprises, and make new and greater contributions to the high-quality economic and social development of Longkou city.

During the meeting, the first plenary meeting of the Ninth Congress of  Longkou Federation of Industry and Commerce was held. Yu Xiaoning, Chairman of Dawn Group, was elected as the chairman of the 9th Executive Committee of the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce and President of the General Chamber of Commerce, and 169 non-public businessmen were elected as members of the 9th Executive Committee of the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce. Li Jingbo, vice chairman of Yantai CPPCC and chairman of the Federation of Industry and Commerce, issued a certificate to Chairman Yu Xiaoning.

At the closing ceremony of the conference, Pan Li, member of the Standing Committee of the Longkou Municipal Party Committee, Minister of the United Front Work Department, and Deputy Mayor, delivered a speech. Focusing on four aspects of "always adhere to the centralized and unified leadership of the party, and own clear standpoint about politics", "always adhere to the overall situation of the service center, and be the vanguard", "always adhere to fulfilling social responsibilities, and setting an example with practical actions", "always adhere to strengthening self-construction and forging ahead in implement ", she put forward ardent hope to the members of Longkou Federation of Industry and Commerce and the majority of private economic personnel.

For many years, Chairman Yu Xiaoning has also served as the head of national or local industrial associations and chambers of commerce, including vice chairman of the China Plastic Processing Industry Association, the vice-chairman of China Synthetic Rubber Industry Association, the chairman of the Thermoplastic Elastomer Sub-Council of CSRIA, Director of Flame Retardant Materials and Application Special Committee of China Plastic Processing Industry Association, President of Yantai Rubber and Plastics Chamber of Commerce. Through the exchange and sharing platform, he has further driven the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, and made outstanding contributions to promoting the technological progress of the industry and the regional economy and social development.

"This new job is both a challenge and a responsibility." Chairman Yu Xiaoning said that the Federation of Industry and Commerce played the role of organizing and uniting the coordinated development of the majority of non-public economies, and the Executive Committee of the Federation of Industry and Commerce and representatives of entrepreneurs formed the core force for the economic development of Longkou City. The new executive committee will inherit and carry forward the fine tradition of Longkou Federation of Industry and Commerce, shoulder new responsibilities, actively play the role of bridge and link between the government and enterprises, and between enterprises and enterprises, further promote the efficient integration of government and enterprises, create a coordinated development ecology of enterprises, adhere to the organic unity of the "three natures", strive to promote "two health",  give full play to the "five roles", faithfully perform various functions entrusted by the party to the Federation of Industry and Commerce, better guide private enterprises to become stronger, and promote the high-quality development of Longkou's private economy in the practice of participating in economic and social construction.
